2016 has been a big year for Barbie: the iconic Mattel doll is celebrating her 57th anniversary, debuted dolls with curvier, more realistic body types and now landed her first French museum exhibition, which opens at Les Arts Decoratifs Museum in Paris today.
The retrospective will pay homage to Barbie’s cultural impact and feature 700 dolls showcasing some of her best outfits (and professions) over the years along with contemporary artwork, videos, photos and newspaper clippings documenting the doll’s evolution. The exhibit runs from March 10th through September 18, 2016—so there’s plenty of time to make a trip out of it.
